Nursery children playing outside
  • Who we are

Outdoor play is at the heart of everyday learning at the nursery

The Old Station Nursery Henley is the perfect place for little ones to explore the great outdoors.

The nursery is in a single-storey building, with ample garden space, and is surrounded by beautiful fields and woodland areas, perfect for exploring.

Babies start in their own room, where they can play with soft play equipment, mirrors, musical instruments and a variety of toys to help them learn. Each bay follows their own individual routine, to ensure all their needs are met. As babies grow confident on their feet, they will move to the toddler room, where activities become slightly more structured, and there is plenty of age-appropriate activities for them to choose from.

In the Pre-School room, children learn through the use of a range of equipment and toys and child-led activities, promoting purposeful play. The nursery ensure that Pre-Schoolers are prepped for their transition to school, and have developed all their skills, needed for their next stage of learning.
