Children playing at The Old Station Nursery in Innsworth
  • Who we are

    Conveniently located at Imjin Barracks

We aim to support all families including local military children within a warm and comfortable environment.

The Old Station Nursery Innsworth offers high-quality childcare to families from a purpose-built, eco-friendly setting. The building itself includes sustainable features, such as a sedum roof, solar water heating and rainwater harvesting. Sustainability is an important part of The Old Station Nursery Group, that’s why we emphasise on eco-friendly practices, encouraging to spend time outdoors in a beautiful nursery garden.

Babies start at the nursery with their own room, where they can explore and develop at their own individual pace. There is plenty of soft play equipment, and a variety of other toys to help them play and learn. Once they are more confident, babies will move into the Tots room, where their activities become more structured, with a mixture of child-led activities and purposeful play.

    "Amazing nursery with lovely staff"

"Amazing nursery with lovely staff. My son absolutely loves to spend time with his favourite people there. We are happy with their food allergies adaptation for every child, me and my husband and our son are very happy with our nursery. Professional report on what my child eats and does on a daily basis and pictures from nursery weeks. Highly recommend."

"It's easy to see why they are an Ofsted Outstanding"

Both of my children had the pleasure of going through the Old Station Nursery and I would recommend this Early Years setting to anyone considering it. It's easy to see why they are an Ofsted 'Outstanding' provision, the range of life skills and activities provided, the approachability of staff, the atmosphere and how they prepare them for school is brilliant.

" I would now have no hesitation in recommending how great the nursery is."

My nearly three-year-old twins have been at The Old Station Nursery since nine months old and absolutely love it! The staff are amazing. I always feel well-informed about the twins' daily activities and their development. The independence they have already gained from attending the setting is great. It is lovely now after pick-up hearing all about their day in their own words, always sounds like a fun-packed day! I was recommended the nursery twice by a friend and a colleague, and I would now have no hesitation in recommending how great the nursery is.
